Taylor came into Arielle’s life in August of 2018, and she is now a permanent member of her family. She has gone from a dog who Arielle believed would do best never to be around dogs and to be with a family who led a quiet life with few visitors, to being a staple in the business. She attends classes, helps Arielle work with dogs, and fits into Arielle’s life wonderfully, but more importantly, safely. Taylor, like many dogs, was not given proper rules and structure and this made her life very small.
Arielle’s drive for helping dogs has only grown over the years. Taylor’s success story is just one of many that Arielle has played a pivotal part in. She is proud to have built an incredible team at Village Dogs that share a love for dogs and a passion for giving them the best life through balanced training.
Every dog who walks through the door becomes a part of the Village Dogs family, and we’re always excited to meet new faces and go on new adventures.
Meet Arielle Lewis, owner and founder of Village Dogs. What started as a dog walking company in 2018 quickly expanded to a full-service facility offering dog training, daycare, and boarding.
Arielle has owned dogs her whole life and has always had a passion for animals. When she was a teenager, she started taking a bigger interest in the behavior of her two family dogs, and made it her mission to teach them to safely walk on leashes. At this time it never occurred to her how many owners were struggling or that this could ever be a career. Over the years, she offered advice to family and friends on how to work with their own dogs. When her dog Taylor came into her life, everything changed.

Arielle is awesome!! Very knowledgeable and professional. I took my dog Dollie to Arielle for private lessons to work on her skills while walking on leash. Dollie has made a HUGE improvement, I can actually enjoy walking my dog now. She’s helped me understand my dog better and the aspects of training her. I highly recommend.
I highly recommend Village Dogs… Arielle and her staff are amazing. We picked Keltie up today after a 12 day vacation. She is a raw fed dog, which wasn’t a problem for Arielle at all. The day we dropped her off she was super excited to see Arielle (huge bonus points). We left her a couple of times for a night or two…but never this long. We got reports and lots of pictures of her on leash walks and off leash walks (more bonus points.) Thank you Arielle and staff for taking such great care of Keltie…she will be back for sure. Also…I did some training with Arielle during the winter. She is very knowledgeable…patient…and awesome at what she does. She gave me the confidence to work through a few problems we had.

My Boxer mix has been with the team for over a year now. She has not only gained confidence and control, (she) is well-behaved and listens significantly more since starting daycare and training. They are the best and make you feel part of their family! No better option in CB.

Arielle has trained us along with our dog! Our dog was always a good dog, just very excited and uncontrollable in those moments. We have learned in the group classes to help her maintain composure and listen even in the most stimulating situations. Now we don’t just have a good dog we have a dog that listens! We have also taken advantage of her dog waking services, they come in handy when we are working longer hours and aren’t able to give our dog as much time as she deserves.
